More than 200 North Korean cheerleaders sporting matching scarlet coats and pelt hats have arrived in South Korea to root for athletes from both sides of the peninsula at the Winter Olympics. The 229 young women who arrived on Wednesday were among a 280-member delegation who crossed the Demilitarized Zone that divides the two Koreas at the Dorasan border post north of Seoul.

Wonder how many might attempt to defect.
You can bet these are all daughters of party members in good standing and among the few who get any rations at all.
Im sure they all have extends families in one of Kims concentration camps eagerly awaiting their return
Where are the pictures!?
Not looking needy parasites at all
Olympics are a peace farce. Sports are predatorial unlike self defense
And have their entire family killed??
Hmmmmm, a bunch of girls with Hillary smiles. Poor girls, I bet if you asked then to march, they would put on a great show.
If I had to guess.I would say roughly between 199-200?
Just my thought. 280 South, how many back North?
What? No pictures?
Correction - more than 200 minders/spies.
My plan would be to beam the event into North Korea and show all the food everyone in the South has to eat. Nothing but video of people eating all the time. That will break Little Kim.
There is fair to middlin’ chance that those cheerleaders are also Nork military, maybe special forces.
In any case, I’d say zero will attempt to defect.
More big hats.
Big perhaps, but very warm fur in that cold climate - and expensive.
Along with the extended families who are competing in the games...
I wonder how many of these "cheerleaders" are in fact state police to over-watch their comrades...
Some of them look pretty clip jawed and mean as hell...
