NOT REAL: Melania Trump hired exorcist to ‘cleanse White House of Obama demons’

THE FACTS: Stephanie Grisham, a spokeswoman for the first lady, said the multiple reports that Melania Trump had a ceremony to rid the White House of demons are “not true in any way.” The stories come from a broadcast with Indiana pastor and radio host Paul Begley, who said that Mrs. Trump said at her husband’s presidential inauguration that she would not move in to the White House until the residence was exorcised.

The only one of these stories I’d heard of was the one about Melania having the White House exorcised, and I didn’t need the AP to tell me it was fake.

They missed the Tom Brady hoax, probably because it was reported in the MSM.

I had heard that Oprah’s house was damaged in the mudslides, but not destroyed. People get stories so wrong, like that game where you tell someone a story and it goes around to 50 people so that by the time it gets back to you it’s totally different............

You never know. Mary Todd Lincoln and Nancy Reagan turned to spiritual practices like seances and astrology.

> You never know. Mary Todd Lincoln and Nancy Reagan turned to spiritual practices like seances and astrology.

We expect the President to be grounded in practical reality. The First Lady, not so much.

A 2009 Pew Research Center survey shows that 18 percent of American adults say they have seen or “been in the presence” of a ghost. Almost one in three (29 percent) said “they have felt in touch with someone who has already died.”
So with 45 First Ladies, 18% is about 8 who, statistically speaking, might really believe in ghosts.

Given that, I'm not the least surprised that a few have held seances or whatever. Astrology is even more common.
