RICHMOND (AP) | The chairman of Virginia's Republican Party on Monday sought a statewide probe of what he said was voter registration fraud across a battleground state in this year's presidential race.
The chairman, Delegate Jeffrey M. Frederick, Prince William Republican, decried a "widespread problem across the commonwealth" after the arrests of three people last week in Hampton on election fraud charges. He urged Gov. Tim Kaine, a Democrat, and Attorney General Robert F. McDonnell, a Republican, to begin a statewide investigation.

Wasn’t ACORN one of Obama’s employers?
ACORN has been all over VA and where they go there is voter fraud. Obama and ACORN are joined at the hip BTW and it goes back to the 80’s when Obama wanted “CHANGE” and Reagan was in office.
His wife and her father were (bet she still is) members of the Daley machine who are the champions of voter fraud so it was natural that she would be attracted to someone who worked for ACORN before getting his law degree.
I shocked that republicans are actually fighting back against voter fraud for once. Shocked I tell ya.
This is a direct warning from the Republicans to Tim Kaine, if you become Obambi’s running mate we will pound you relentlessly on this and other weaknesses you have (like your agreeing to drilling for gas off the coast but refusing to allow drilling for oil). VA is a conservative State, it’s not as “moderate” as the MSM thinks it as.
According to Stanley Kurtz of NRO, there's some confusion about exactly who worked for who. Obama trained ACORN staff (probably with the help of a federal grant) Alinksy-style for his "Project Vote" registration drive in Chicago -- one of his few so-called accomplishments -- then the same people he trained just happened to be the ones out working for him in the next election. Funny how that happens...
Don’t forget his refusal to extend the primary voting hours for democrats when most of Hillary’s constituents (federal employees) were stuck in a hopeless traffic jamb getting out of DC because of some snow/ice, and did not get a chance to vote.

“VA is a red state...” Is this still true??? With a democrat governor, Webb as senator and a dem beating the republican for Warner’s seat? I’m thinking VA has gone the way of PA... what was once bright red is now blue. Let me know if I’m reading VA incorrectly. I’d love to be wrong on this. Thanks.
Wow, he is slick, isn’t he?
VA is a Red State. You have to remember that Kaine was Warner’s Lt. Governor, and Warner was very popular. Warner campaigned in 2001 and later governed as a conservative dem/moderate Republican. The economy sored under his watch (2002 - 2006), and Kaine ran against a terrible Repub opponent in 2005 (Jerry Kilgore). The argument can and has been made that Kaine is serving Warner’s second term. As for Webb, if George Allen had not uttered “Macaca” in his 2006 re-election attempt then Jim Webb would be writing books for a living. If Obama names Kaine as his running mate I can assure you that will not guarantee a VA win for the messiah. The real 800 lb gorilla in this race, someone who could have helped Obambi win VA, is Mark Warner. Warner flirted with running for president in 2007 but bagged out in favor of a senate run. I know Obambi’s and Hillary’s people both tried to woo him as a future running mate, Obama especially. But Warner took a pass in favor of the slam dunk race he has against the hapless but honest Jim Gilmore. In the end McCain should carry the Old Dominion, but Mark Warner will add one more senate deat for the dems.
I regard dilution of my vote as a crime equal with assault.
