Jeb Bush, trailing badly in polls here and itching to get to New Hampshire, used his farewell Iowa campaign event to ask caucus-goers to do what he couldn't: Stop Donald Trump.
"You have a chance to define the next stage of this race," Bush told a ballroom full of supporters in an Embassy Suites hotel on Monday afternoon. "I'm counting on you and I trust you."
The former Florida governor has essentially conceded Iowa, where polls show him in the low single digits. Bush will not be holding a caucus night party, instead leaving the state this afternoon for New Hampshire, where he has planned a town hall event and is waging an aggressive effort.

Farewell, Jeb! Y’all don’t come back now, ya hear?
What a weakling.
“People of Iowa! Trump isn’t one of us special people and families who have been ruling you so well! Don’t let him in! He will ruin things for the rest of us! Please help us!!”
More reason to vote Trump from Jeb’s dirty Mexican mouth.
Tonight is the beginning of the end for Yeb.
Good riddance Yeb.
The best thing Trump has done this campaign is defeating Bush and GOPe.
Did he then pay them $50 not to vote for Trump? LOL
A heartless caucus demurs. 75 Million buckadingdongs down the crapper like a bad bowl of guacamole. Perhaps next year, Yeb! (weeping) - perhaps in a better world! It was just...not...to be... (sound of inconsolable sobbing)
Well, hell, there's always Bernie.
I thought I’d share this overheard conversation from this past weekend. Three college-age males discussing the election. The most talkative of the trio said he disliked Trump because “all he does is bash people, he doesn’t talk the issues.” He then said that “I admit Hillary Clinton is getting a bad rap but...” Ah, the misguided yoot. He said he will vote for Sanders or maybe “go to the dark side and vote Republican if Rubio or Bush is the nominee because “they have done a lot for foreigners.” I have no idea what that means. :-)
At least you are capable of giving Trump credit for 1 important thing.
Killing off Bush’s campaign.
Snidely Trumplsh will tie your daughters to the railroad tracks, then you don’t want to know what happens...
Don't blame him. Who would show up?
Trump has bragged publicly that, as a very savvy business man, he, in plain English, bought politicians in order to use then whenever he needed their services and favors . That is the reason he gave $250,000 to the Clinton scam Foundation in addition of very generous political donations to the Clintons, la Pelosi, Reid, the communist Mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio, and many other, mostly corrupt leftist Democratic politicians.
