Freepers please lift my dear friend Debbie Thompson in prayer. She went to the doctor because she wasn't feeling well this morning and now she's been admitted for a heart Cath tomorrow because her doctor has found blockages. Debbie is a one-in-a million lady who has stepped up and helped me out so many times I cannot count them; the most important one is she has become a surrogate grandmother to my daughter because my own mom passed away over 10 years ago. Debbie is a wonderful christian woman who I consider to be salt of the Earth.
I am praying for Debbie.
Been there myself. It’s amazing what they can do nowadays. She’ll likely have a stent or two. Be grateful they caught it before an actual stroke.
Prayers for your dear friend Debbie. (((hugs))) for you.
Prayers up! The advancement in procedures done within the walls of a cath lab are nothing short of miraculous. We pray that she winds up with strong heart that will last for decades.
Praying that the procedure goes well and restores her health!
Prayers for your friend’s health and successful treatment and full and speedy recovery !
Bless your heart, dear. Prayer sent for your friend.
Yes! Prayers are up here!
praying for Debbie, for easy solution to her current situation and for God to help her see any changes she may need for lifestyle (stress, exercise, eating, etc) going forward to prevent any other issues.
Praying for you for peace of mind too.
Prayers lifted for Debbie, for You, and for Your Daughter.
Prayers up. I had by-pass surgery (four) two days after Christmas. I was back at work part-time two weeks and a day after surgery. Have not missed a day since, although I did short days for three weeks. I am doing great, back in the gym for cardio, core and light resistance training. The old sternum takes a while to heal.
My Dad had it twice, the first time in 1979 and then 1989. Before the first one, at 58, he couldn’t walk from one end of the house to the other. He died in 2008 at 86. It is amazing what they can do now. I never felt as miserable as he looked both times.
So, take heart and relax. If she can avoid a serious heart attack, the outlook is very good for her.
You can count on my Prayers!
My mother-in-law had 2 complete and 1 90% blockage a few weeks ago and she was home within 36 hours. I love my MIL, but who knew she had that strong of a heart?
Prayers for her. May the doctors do the right thing.
FWIW, being a heart surgeon is one of the most gratifying practices, your patients feel better immediately.
Here’s for Debbie being in that category!
Prayers up for her.
Prayers and hugs for you both.
