You-All already know the truth behind the bleeding hearts' agitations, but there are certain facts that will determine the outcome that are little appreciated.High tech exists now to scan your guns in your house from the street. The Feds are giving all local police as much military hardware as they can take.(Loretta Lynch taking over the Philadelphia police on the pretext of racialist issues.) The Federalization of local police, starting with the largest cities, is a long-term program for which there is no evidencefrom the politics of the Justice Department that there has been any abatementwith the change from the Obama to...

The provocative Worcester-based blog Turtleboy Sports, the first to break the story about how a Massachusetts state trooper apparently faced discipline for including incriminating details in his arrest report concerning a judge’s daughter, days ago broke a story regarding a K-9 trooper’s lurid history of drug dealing and money laundering. Both of Boston’s major newspapers — the Boston Herald and the Boston Globe — recently followed up on the Turtleboy report with stories of their own. Neither publication cited, however, Turtleboy’s original reporting, triggering a firestorm of criticism in both newspaper’s online comment sections.

The argument against arming teachers etc. - Teachers want to teach, not be a police officer. I don’t have a gun in my home to be a police officer. I have a gun so that if or when the intruder finds my location, I can shoot at him! Would you rather a teacher have a gun while hiding in a room with students, or have the teacher unarmed? The key distinction for arming teachers is being ‘defensive’ not ‘offensive’. It’s that simple. The same reason buildings have sprinklers.

The revelation that the site of the most recent school massacre had an armed police officer assigned to the school “disproves the conservative contention that ‘hardening the target’ is the way to go if we want to stop these kinds of gun tragedies,” says Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn). The Senator was referring to the fact that an officer from the Broward County Sheriff’s office was permanently assigned to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida where expelled student Nikolas Cruz killed 17 students and faculty members last week. The assigned officer, Deputy Scot Peterson, declined to engage the...

In the aftermath of the Parkland shooting, CNN announced it would hold a Town Hall: To help facilitate the discussion, CNN has announced it will hold a nationally televised town hall with the victims' classmates, parents and community members. "Stand Up: The Students of Stoneman Douglas Demand Action" will air live at 9 p.m., ET, on Wednesday, February 21 at the BB&T Center. So far, Florida Rep. Ted Deutch, Sen. Bill Nelson and Sen. Marco Rubio have accepted an invitation to participate in the town hall. Florida Gov. Rick Scott said he would be unable to attend because he would...

NEW YORK (AP) -- Recently filed federal charges against President Donald Trump's ex-campaign chairman Paul Manafort could also pose legal and regulatory risks for the banks that loaned him millions of dollars against his New York real estate in recent years. The most serious exposure may be for a Rhode Island-based bank that employed a "conspirator" in Manafort's scheme to obtain a loan he couldn't afford, according to the 32-count new indictment unsealed this week. Dubbed "Lender B" in court papers, Citizens Bank not only lent Manafort $3.4 million based off of fraudulent documents but, in another case, appeared to...

Let me be clear, not THIS Scott Peterson: he’s just a murderous sociopath. The Scot Peterson everyone’s talking about today is the recently retired Broward County Sheriff's Office Deputy whose dereliction of duty might arguably be considered  “acting stupidly.”  Former Broward County Sheriff’s Office “School Security Monitor” Deputy Scot PetersonAccording to Officer Tim Burton of the Coral Springs Police Department, Peterson responded to the Parkland school shooting “by seeking cover behind a concrete column leading to a stairwell” rather than running into danger to stop the killing of unarmed children and school staff.  But before you jump to conclusions, let...

If you remember Ronald Reagan, one of my favorite presidents ever, he had a famous saying which goes something like this: The 9 most terrifying words in the English language are: I am from the Government and I am here to help. Truer words have never been spoken. If you were wondering what’s up with the left kicking and screaming about gun control in the aftermath of the Florida massacre, the answer is very simple: they are trying to cover their behinds and follow an occult agenda, that has nothing with our safety and/or security. The thing is, this school...

Last year the inhabitants of Venezuela led the world in weight loss with an average decline in weight of 24 lbs. per person. President Nicolas Maduro lamented that "the outcome would've been even better if more of the largest losers had been able to survive. Still, we are showing the gringos how to fight climate change." Former US President Barack Obama hailed the country's mass starvation method of weight loss as "a remarkable shrinkage of Venezuela's carbon footprint. The sacrifices made by their people to reduce global warming have been truly heroic. One of my biggest regrets is that I...

Is the huffingtonpost dead? I remember way back in the 2010 to 2016 period it was the leader of the leftist attack on morality. But now it is not even mentioned and seems forgotten. I went on to its website and it doesn't even have the somewhat interesting home section anymore while the politic section is so much a screed that I see no comments, not even from brain-dead democrats. So it looks like huffpost is dead.. And freerepublic still lives! And will continue to live.

Another bombshell in a stunning series of law enforcement failures An armed officer stood by at the Parkland Florida school shooting and did “nothing” while 17 people were slaughtered, reported Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel on Thursday. Deputy Scot Peterson resigned after a surveillance video surfaced, which showed him standing outside Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School for nearly four minutes during the six-minute massacre. And this is just the latest in a growing list of failures and missed signs that could have stopped the school shooter before he ever had the chance to take 17 lives. Here’s what we’ve learned...

Here’s how most Venezuelans lost an average of 43 pounds in two years In May 2017, the Washington Post reported:In a recent survey of 6,500 Venezuelan families by the country’s leading universities, three-quarters of adults said they lost weight in 2016 — an average of 19 pounds… a level of hunger almost unheard-of outside war zones or areas ravaged by hurricane, drought or plague. In February 2018, Reuters reported:Venezuelans reported losing on average 11 kilograms (24 lbs) in body weight last year… according to a new university study…That’s 43 pounds in two years. Before I explain how this came to happen, I want...

Is the Left saying we do not care about the children if we choose to bear arms? What about protecting our own sleeping children in the night against an intruder? Yes, we can call our police officers, but by that time it could be too late. The Left believes it is a woman’s right to abort a fetus if and when she so chooses to do so. In saying that, there are very different ways to care about the children. However, the Left is starting a new campaign “care about the children?” Really? Let’s remember the Left does not have...

Hated In Good Company Way back when I was a hippie, all the pot and loud music couldn’t cloud the fact that the wrong side of any debate was usually the more dramatic, flowery presentation. The plentiful aesthetics, drugs, sex, music, movies, etc. of the 60s only proved to deaden everybody’s brains. Believe it or not, when LSD and marijuana first became popular, I was actually excited because I (like eventually even Elvis) thought that drugs could change the thinking that got us into wars and racism. I remember when my flower-child friends were no longer ‘turning on’ for love...

One would think that everyone who lost a child or loved on in the horrific Parkland shooting spree should be able to view the video and be privy to every detail of the tragedy Like a Laurence Olivier of the CNN ‘Townhall’ acting world, Sheriff Scott Israel was accorded standing ovations when he took NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch to task under the curiously benevolent directorship of Jake Tapper, on Wednesday night. Never once did the Olivier of CNN’s “townhall” ever mention that he happened to be in possession of a video showing that armed and uniformed School Resource Deputy Scot...

Another mass killing has taken place in the defenseless victim zone of a Florida high school in the Miami metropolitan area of Broward County. The major media in this country has blood on its hands. They know that mass murderers are incentivized by media coverage that gives a form of immortality to the deranged killers. The pattern is clear.  Many of the killers are open about their desire for infamy. The Port Arther murderer asked his lawyer, again and again: “Did I break the record?”.The media does not care how many innocents die because of their push for ratings...
